In Memory of The hospital was hit 10 times during the raid of the 9th April 1941, making it virtually unusable, unfortunately after the all clear was given a a delayed action bomb that had not been discovered exploded, killing 21 patients and 2 Doctors and Nurses. Beryl was amongst the casualties and died at Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital. . The family lived in 31 Harewood Road but moved back to Kirby Road. The picture below shows Beryl aged 12.5 playing with Don her brother then aged 5
