This book commemorates those who fell from The Great War and have commemorative plaques in the Park. The park was officially opened on the 9th July 1921 and the Memorial dedicated in October 1927 by Field Marshall Earl Haig. This book includes over 100 photos of the men and traces the stories of those commemorated. |

| This books covers the 330 Men from Coventry who remained unaccounted for. The majority died in The Battle of the Somme which lasted from the 1st July 1916 to the 18th November 1916. Using war diaries and local archives, this 330 stories of men who have No Known Grave. Their names are inscribed on the Thiepval Memorial. | |||||||||

On the nights of the 8th/9th and the 10th/11th April 1941, the Luftwaffe returned to Coventry inflicting further casualties amongst the civilian population. Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital recent ten direct hits making the hospital unusable. Many heroic acts on that night were awarded with acts of bravery. In addition accounts have been used from those who survived the air raid. |
